Fuelko electronic controller shall built in a 16 bit Microcontroller special for automotive industry that shall withstand temperatures from -40C to 125C
Fuelko electronic controller shall be waterproof with water sealed harness connector.
Fuelko electronic controller shall be self protected against electronic noise.
Fuelko electronic controller shall be Fully Functional OBDII. Keeping the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) OBDII system completely functional when operating on Gasoline and also when operating on Propane or Natural Gas. Fuelko FKG3 shall not intervene whatsoever the OEM OBDII trouble codes or malfunction indication lights (MIL). The diagnostics of the OBDII system on both Gasoline and the Alternative Fuel (CNG or LPG) shall be done through a SAE data protocol scan tool.
Fuelko embedded alternative fuel ECU program shall allow the installer to protect the calibration program against tampering by setting up an anti tamper protection password avoiding changes to the calibration program from others.
Fuelko Calibration program shall allow manual adjustments of the fuel trim and fuel mix on more than three different engine loads.
Fuelko Calibration program shall allow calibration adjustments and verifications by using a standard SAE protocol scanner comparing Gasoline fuel trims to Alternative fuel trims and make it match throughout the engine load map.
Fuelko Calibration and embedded program shall not rely on in-site shop idle calibration only but shall allow capturing Real Engine Mapping at different engines loads (low, medium and high) either on route or in a dynamometer if available.
Fuelko Calibration program shall have its own diagnostics module.
Fuelko Electronic controller shall store in it’s internal memory, a record log of diagnostics and trouble codes and make it available for the installer for retrieval and assessment.
Fuelko Electronic controller shall not intervene, modify or emulate any electronic signal from the OEM OBDII onboard electronic controller and shall rely only on petrol injection pulses reading to calculate and produces the alternative fuel injection pulses.
Fuelko electronic controller shall be optionally capable itself of calculating the engine’s revolution per minute (RPM), based on injection pulses.
Fuelko electronic controller shall be dual fuel and or single fuel capable.
Fuelko electronic controller shall be able to manage engines equipped with “Multiple Displacement System (MDS)”, without signal emulations.
Fuelko electronic controller and its embedded software shall not by any mean splice or intervene the ground or positive wire line that feeds the OEM OBDII electronic controller nor the OEM memory clearing wire for any purpose including temporarily cutting off the power, even while the engine is turned off, for the purpose of clearing OEM onboard electronic controller stored or active check engine codes.
Fuelko electronic controller and embedded calibration software shall be capable and ready to manage engines equipped with positive air pressure devices known as “Turbo Charger”. |
