Fuelko Conversion system shall be Fully Functional OBDII. Keeping the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) OBDII system completely functional when operating on Gasoline and also when operating on Propane or Natural Gas. Fuelko FKG3 shall not intervene whatsoever the OEM OBDII trouble codes or malfunction indication lights (MIL). The diagnostics of the OBDII system on both Gasoline and the Alternative Fuel (CNG or LPG) shall be done through a SAE data protocol scan tool.
Fuelko Conversion system calibration verification shall be done and be possible by using a standard SAE protocol OBDII scanner verifying and comparing fuel trims on Gasoline equal in range to fuel trims on the alternative fuel Natural Gas or Propane.
Fuelko Conversion system shall change over between fuels automatically, unnoticeable and smoothly never stopping, halting or make the engine stutter whatsoever.
Fuelko Conversion system shall allow change over between fuels manually as an option to the automatic change over.
Fuelko Conversion system shall not switch between fuels while the engine runs at its highest power demand. In other words the pressure regulator shall fulfill fuel flow engine’s demand when it runs at its highest power capacity.
Fuelko Conversion system shall fulfill the OEM fuel consumption rates.
Fuelko Conversion system shall fulfill and maintain OEM emissions.
Fuelko Conversion system shall inject LPG or CNG directly, independently and sequentially to each individual air intake duct by using one independent electric injector per cylinder, controlled by a sequential and independent injection pulses processed and managed by a 16 Bit microcontroller on the alternative fuel electronic controller.
Fuelko Conversion system shall integrate a liquid phase fuel filter before the pressure reducer valve or may be integrated in the shut off electric valve.
Fuelko Conversion system shall have a fuel level indicator visible at the dashboard.
Fuelko Conversion system hardware components inlet fitting and connections shall fit imperial thread system.
Fuelko Conversion system under hood fitting connectors shall fit SAE gas flared hose end connectors on injectors rail inlet, outlet and intake manifold inlets to fulfill local installation code where it is required. |
